In addition, the study looked into how the insurgency affected the career mobility of academic Staff members and the advancement of infrastructure in four specifically chosen tertiary institutions in the Northeast. The University of Maiduguri, Federal Polytechnic Mubi, College of Agriculture Gujba now relocated to Damaturu due to the heavy attack by Boko Haram and Mai Idris Alooma Polytechnic Geidam, were the four selected tertiary institutions studied in the research.
