Abstract
Power transformers are crucial equipment for viable and dependable performance of a power system.This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the Fault Detection and Leveraging Dissolved Gas Analysis DGA for Proactive Life Management of Power Transformers their opportune upkeep based on detected incipient faults and or deterioration state is essential in realizing this objective.The review also highlights the benefits and limitations of different approaches to transformer fault detection and diagnosis, a long in-service transformer generates gases even at normal working conditions. This study also proposes how to detect fault and analyze using dissolves gasses DGA for proactive manage the life span of transformer.
